STIPEND POLICY

STIPEND POLICY

Academic Year: September 1 – May 31

• Full Stipend ($40): Student must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Student has a current GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Student is signed up with Grammarly
  • Student has met with their Advisor at least twice/month (exception: if student has a current GPA of 3.0 or above, they must meet with their Advisor at least once/month)
  • Student has used NetTutor and/or Rosetta Stone for appropriate amount of time based on current GPA:
4.0 or above = no tutoring required
3.5-3.9 = 30 minutes or more per month
3.0-3.4 = 1 hour or more per month
2.5-2.9 = 2 hours or more per month
2.0-2.4 = 2.5 hours or more per month
Below 2.0 = 3 hours or more per month

• Partial Stipend ($20): Student must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Student is signed up with Grammarly
  • Student has met with their Advisor at least once/month
  • Student has used NetTutor and/or Rosetta Stone for appropriate amount of time based on current GPA:
  • 4.0 or above = no tutoring required
3.5-3.9 = 30 minutes or more per month
3.0-3.4 = 1 hour or more per month
2.5-2.9 = 2 hours or more per month
2.0-2.4 = 2.5 hours or more per month
Below 2.0 = 3 hours or more per month

Summer Component: June 1 – July 31

Full Stipend ($60): Student must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Student attends all elements of the summer component to the best of their ability
  • Student provides note or is cleared by Director for any and all missed days 
  • Student completes all assignments
  • Student maintains a ‘B’ or higher in their summer online class

Partial Stipend ($30): Student must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Student attends all elements of the summer component to the best of their ability
  • Student provides a note or is cleared by Director for all but one or two missed days
  • Student completes all but one or two assignments
  • Student maintains a ‘C’ or higher in their summer online class
